Welcome to alphactor.ai. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the alphactor.ai website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

alphactor.ai is an educational and informational stock research platform that provides AI-powered tools including:

  • AI-generated stock signals (BUY / SELL / HOLD)
  • Conviction scores (0–100 with Strong Buy to Strong Sell ratings)
  • Backtesting and strategy optimization
  • Portfolio management and tracking
  • Screener with strategy presets
  • 13F institutional investor tracking
  • Congressional trading data
  • Sentiment analysis
  • 8

3. User Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

alphactor.ai offers a Free plan (funded by ads) and a Premium plan ($29/month or $21.75/month annual). Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis and automatically renew unless cancelled. A separate one-time Lifetime offer is also available — see the pricing page.

  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.
  • Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at legal@alphactor.ai and we will review on a case-by-case basis.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal API usage permitted by your plan.
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any data, signals, or content obtained through the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or to our systems and infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Financial Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

  • alphactor.ai is NOT a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. We are not registered with the SEC, FINRA, or any state securities regulatory authority.
  • All content on the Service — including AI-generated signals, conviction scores, backtests, screener results, and copilot responses — is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice.
  • No content on the Service should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or short any security.
  • You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment.
  • Past performance does not guarantee future results. Backtested and historical performance is hypothetical and may not reflect actual trading conditions including liquidity, slippage, and fees.
  • AI-generated signals, scores, and analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or analysis.
  • All investments carry risk, including the potential loss of principal.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, software, algorithms, and data compilations — are owned by alphactor.ai or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, alphactor.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to alphactor.ai in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless alphactor.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the Service.

11. Third-Party Services & Data

The Service relies on third-party providers for market data, authentication, payments, and hosting. These include but are not limited to Polygon.io, Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, SEC EDGAR, Supabase, Stripe, Google Analytics, and Vercel. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or quality of third-party data or services. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of California.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
